- Cell-The intersection of a row and a column in a table or worksheet. A cell contains information such as text, numbers, or graphics.
- Character effect- A special effect that can be applied to individual character of text.
- Chart-A type of graphic that visually presents numerical data.
- Clip art - An image that is ready to add to a document.
- Datasheet- In Access, data displayed in a row-a-column format in a table, query, or form.
- Diagram-A type of graphic that visually presents conceptual information rather than nuberical data.
- Highlight-A colored background applied to selected text.
- Landscape orientstion-A page orientation in which text is printed across the wider dimension of the page.
- Margin-Blank space along the edge of a page where text is not printed. All documents have a top, bottom, right, and left margin which can have the same or different widths.
- Merge-In Excel, an action that combines selected cells into a single cell.
- organization chart-A diagram that visually presents the structure of departments or personnel in an organization.
- Portrait orientation-A page orientation in which text is printed across the shorter dimension of the page.
- Split-In Word, an action that divides a single talbe cell into two or more smaller cells.
- Table-In Word, a grid made up of honizontal rows and vertical columns that is used to order certain types of information.
- Text effect- A special effect that can be applied to one or more characters of text. Examples of text effects include shimmering or sparkling text. Text effect can be viewed on the screen but do not appear in a printed document.
